U.S. Sen. Bob Casey reintroduced three bills on Tuesday that aim to strengthen oversight of natural gas drilling and increase industry training for Pennsylvania workers.

Casey joined legislators in both chambers of Congress to reintroduce the Fracturing Responsibility and Awareness of Chemicals Act, or FRAC Act, a bill opposed by the industry that would require disclosure of the chemicals used in hydraulic fracturing.

The senator also reintroduced the Marcellus Shale On-the-Job Training Act of 2010 and the Faster Action Safety Team Emergency Response Act. The bills were initially introduced in the last session of Congress.
