Today, Congressman Joe Donnelly released the following statement on the debate over "right-to-work" legislation in the Indiana General Assembly.

"I stand with those who are fighting on behalf of working men and women to continue to have the right to collectively bargain," said Donnelly. "Collective bargaining has played a fundamental role in helping to build and maintain the middle-class in Indiana. Collective bargaining enables hardworking Hoosiers to negotiate wages and benefits so they can support their families and retire with dignity. Now, more than ever, we need to be looking for ways to add to, not reduce, the number of middle-class families in this state."
