Congressman Renacci Seeks Imput From Local Businesses

Press Release

Date: Feb. 24, 2011
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Jim Renacci (OH-16) today announced his partnership with AmericanJobCreators.com, a website designed to allow business owners to send their thoughts on job creation directly to Washington.

Created by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), the Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, the website will collect comments from innovators throughout the nation about how government impacts businesses, detailing where they think Washington helps or hurts job creation.

A former businessman himself, Congressman Renacci looks forward to the opportunity to hear directly from businesses in Ohio's 16th district. "In Congress, I seek to combine my own experiences as a small business owner with the perspective of other employers in the district to help craft pro-growth, pro-jobs policies. Just as I would have considered how a given business decision would impact my company, I now consider how a given vote might affect my district," Renacci said. "With our nation in the midst of a spending-driven debt crisis, marked by historic unemployment, I look forward to hearing from Ohio job creators about how the government has impacted their job creation and what I can do to help."

To submit comments about how existing and proposed federal regulations are affecting businesses, constituents should visit Congressman Renacci's website, Renacci.house.gov and click "Listening to America's Job Creators.'
