Earthquake in Haiti
In the wake of the earthquake in Haiti that has caused widespread destruction and left many people unaccounted for, I want to express my deep concern for everyone that has been affected by this tragic event. I also want to voice my strong support and gratitude for the relief efforts being undertaken by the State Department, U.S. Agency for Aid and International Development (USAID), the U.S. military, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the Department of Homeland Security as well as many international disaster relief organizations.
