Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Jim Renacci (OH-16) today released the following statement in honor of Martin Luther King Day:

"Today, we celebrate the 25th anniversary of a holiday honoring civil rights leader Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

A symbol of the civil rights movement and our nation's fight for equality, as we celebrate Martin Luther King Day, let us remember Dr. King's statement: 'Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'

Let us all honor the memory of Dr. King by asking how we can better serve our friends, neighbors and our country. As I serve the people of the 16th district of Ohio, I aspire to follow the values Dr. King represents: truth, justice and individual freedom."
