Representative Jeff Denham (R-CA) voted today to put repealing ObamaCare on the agenda for repeal by the full House Chamber as early as next week. In regard to this first step in repealing the job-killing ObamaCare law, Rep. Denham said:
"I was so proud to be able to take a major step today to change the irresponsible and anti-job ObamaCare law. The law as passed last Congress is killing much-needed jobs by imposing prohibitive burdens on small businesses and American families through runaway spending, raising taxes, and mandates on small businesses. I am committed to doing all I can with my colleagues to relieve small businesses and families from these barriers to job-creation and economic certainty."
As passed, the parliamentary rule that the House of Representatives approved today will allow the full House of Representatives to vote on H.R. 2, an act to repeal the health care law, next week. Rep. Denham is an original cosponsor of H.R. 2, and is determined to work with his colleagues to find quality and affordable solutions to America's health care needs.
