Chairman Camp Sets Ways and Means Hearing To Examine Burdens Of Current Tax System

U.S. Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-OH) today released the following statement regarding the first in a series of hearings in the Ways and Means Committee on fundamental tax reform:

"There's no doubt that our current tax system is complex and inefficient, burdening families and impeding job growth," said Congressman Tiberi, the Chairman of the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Select Revenue Measures. "By calling this hearing Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) has taken the first step on the road to reform. We'll learn about how our current tax structure impacts families, small businesses, and job creation, as well as, the impact on our nation's ability to compete in the global marketplace."
