Issue Position

I know that there is so much that our state could do to improve our budget situation, help families keep more of their money, and create an environment for job growth in Delaware. We should be offering an early retirement option to state employees to save money and reduce the size of our state government without layoffs. Delaware needs to take a serious look at consolidating certain services amongst all our school districts, which could yield millions of dollars in savings. I've fought for many of these ideas during my time in the State Senate, and I will continue to fight for these and other good ideas as your State Treasurer.
