Constitution Day

Statement

Date: Sept. 17, 2010

Constitution Day

The United States Constitution is the world's longest standing government charter and arguably the most influential document in history. Each year we set aside September 17th to reflect on the importance of this contract for all Americans. We have a way of life where responsible citizens value the freedoms provided in our constitution. Protecting these principles is the key to preserving the foundations of our country.

On the 223rd anniversary of the constitution, citizens of the United States of America celebrate the wisdom of its creation. It is more important than ever to resist the growth of government as our founding fathers intended.
