Folsom Endorsed By National Rifle Association

The National Rifle Association has endorsed Jim Folsom, Jr. in the race for Alabama Lt. Governor.

"As a lifelong NRA member, I have a great understanding and appreciation for the importance of protecting our Second Amendment rights. Said Folsom. "Historically, the NRA endorsement has been a major factor in elections in Alabama. I am honored that the outdoorsmen and sportsmen of the NRA membership have chosen to stand up for me in the election for Lt. Governor."

The National Rifle Association of America, is a non-partisan, non-profit organization which lists as its goals the protection of the Second Amendment of the United States Bill of Rights and the promotion of firearm ownership rights as well as marksmanship, firearm safety, and the protection of hunting and self-defense in the United States.

In a letter to Governor Folsom, NRA representative Randy Kozuch said. "Our members will interpret your "A" rating and endorsement as being a solid pro-gun/ pro-hunting candidate who is an advocate for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. I look forward to a future partnership with you to advance the interest of Alabama's law abiding gun owners an sportsmen."
