Statement

Saturday night was a big night for our campaign. I am grateful and humbled to be the nominee for Lieutenant Governor on the Democratic Ticket.

To each of you who have supported my candidacy and given your time and energy, monetary contributions and overall well wishes, I thank you so very much for making a difference in this campaign.

I am honored to be working side by side with Neil Abercrombie as we move forward toward the general election on November 2nd. We have been traveling all over the State on a unity tour of Democrats, and I can tell you this -- this campaign isn't about Neil or myself. It is about you, the people of Hawaii, and a new vision for our state.

With five weeks to go until the general election, the hardest work is still in front of us.

Please help us add new voices to our campaign for our families, for economic opportunity, for public education and a state government that works for everyone.
