Gary Peters and Nancy Pelosi Fail to Create New Jobs

Today the United States Department of Labor announced that new jobless claims rose to 500,000, a nine-month high! This news is further evidence that the massive federal spending and wasteful stimulus projects that Gary Peters has supported are failing to improve the economy and they are not delivering on their promise to create new jobs.

On June 18, 2010 Gary Peters appeared on the Ed Show on MSNBC where he admitted failure of the Obama-Pelosi-Peters economic plan:
"People continue to be frustrated with the fact the economy has been so slow to recover its taking some time and I understand the pain were certainly feeling it here in Michigan"

If Mr. Peters understands the pain and frustration that families in Oakland County are experiencing perhaps he should have thought twice about aligning himself with Nancy Pelosi and voting in favor of every failed federal spending and stimulus bill and against the people of Oakland County.
