Rep. Kirkpatrick Observes Ninth Anniversary of 9/11 Attacks

Statement

Representative Ann Kirkpatrick today released the following statement in observance of the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and United Airlines Flight 93 on September 11th, 2001:

"Nine years ago today, our Nation watched in horror as one of the most devastating attacks on Americans in our history unfolded. Nearly three thousand of our country's sons and daughters were murdered that day, and countless people around the world lost friends and loved ones.

On the anniversary of these tragic events, we hold the memory of these men, women and children close to our hearts and keep their survivors in our thoughts and prayers. We must also honor the sacrifices made by law enforcement, first responders, and our troops at home and overseas as they continue their brave work to keep us safe."
