Gwinner Manufacturer is Fueling Economic Growth and Innovation, Conrad says

Senator Kent Conrad today met with the management and employees of Bobcat, one of the largest employers in North Dakota, before touring its 700,000 square-foot manufacturing facility.

"Bobcat is an example of the spirit of hard work and determination that thrives here in North Dakota," Senator Conrad said. "Bobcat is building its business, creating jobs and contributing in a positive way to the community. The combination of Bobcat's successful business model, coupled with the unmatched ethic of North Dakota workers has helped fuel their success in Gwinner."

During a tour of the facility, Bobcat officials demonstrated the latest work being done at the Gwinner plant, including the latest developments in the loaders that are manufactured there. Prior to the tour, Senator Conrad received a briefing from Troy Kraft, Bobcat's Vice President of Global Engineering and Dan Antrim, the Vice President North America Operations.
