Issue Position

As we begin this new decade, it is time to take a fresh stand for the freedoms which have brought out the best in many generations of Americans. We must hold high the principles of individual liberty and personal responsibility. The primary authority of parents and the foundational significance of the family need to be defended in public policy. A vibrant economy should be encouraged through lower and simpler taxes. The first responsibility of any government is to protect the lives of its citizens. Let us reset the public moral compass for the next generation by firmly defending life for all-including the young and the old.

As your senator for district 15, I am following these principles as I work toward better opportunities for our children and grandchildren.
