Issues: Health and Health Care
The problem of increasing health care costs is not unique to the U.S. Such cost of health care is also sky-rocketing in nations with a national health care system. Upgrading our American health care system should be anchored on its strength - choice. This will require limited government (not a national plan), increased competition, tort reform, curb excessive regulatory mandates, and reduce bureaucracy that stifle innovation and increase cost. People should control and own their health care.
