Issues: Senior Citizens Unemployed and Low-Income Entitlements and the Safety Net Health Insurance

Keeping promises to our senior's means not expanding entitlement programs that adversely affect our current commitments to Medicare and Social Security. Job one should be how we are going to sustain our current commitments.

New federal mandates on states will increase costs for Wisconsin to fund its Medicaid program, resulting in less state aid for local governments increasing the pressure of already high property taxpayers. Wisconsin Seniors cannot afford more property taxes while living on a fixed income because the federal government has different priorities.
