Issue Position: Domestic Issues

Issue Position

I support pro-life. I oppose abortion in cases of self convenience.

I do not believe federal government should have a role in defining or establishing rules/laws concerning marriage. This is a religious establishment, not governmental. Civil unions are managed at the state and local levels. Any other definition raises possibilities of discrimination, which is deemed illegal and unwarranted in this country.

I support Father's rights equally as I support Mother's rights.

Most crimes are offshoots of religious sins such as greed, hate, lust, etc. Considering our large base of Laws in this country, I do not support the notion of Hate Crimes as it raises the specter of unneeded differentiation in cases of violence already well-defined in our legislation.

I do not support any government controlled and rationed health care system as it is currently discussed. I do support removing state barriers that will allow access to a wider variety of competitive insurance plans to our country's population.

The Right to Keep And Bear Arms. The Second Amendment. I support all 10 amendments equally. I do not support redefining any of the Bill of Rights at any time. These Bill of Rights are inalienable and are bestowed upon all as we are born into society. National, State and Local governments have no right to eliminate, curtail or suspend them against civil, law-abiding individuals and populations. These governments also must follow and uphold the entirety of the Constitution at all times. I believe that these governments are not empowered to eliminate, curtail or suspend any part of the Constitution without undergoing the process of amendment.

I oppose blanket amnesty for illegal aliens. I also oppose expanding welfare benefits and granting retroactive Social Security eligibility to illegal aliens. I support enforcement of existing laws penalizing employers that knowingly provide illegal aliens employment. This is tantamount to slave labor. Legislation should be passed that make company hiring practices contingent upon a citizen status verification process. I support the implementation of the 287G program for all state county sheriff offices and state police forces nationwide.

I support defining English as the official language of the United States. This does not mean that immigrants can no longer speak in their native tongue. Incentives to learn English will improve one's ability to enjoy the fruits of his/her labor within our workforce and assures them the freedom and mobility within our society.

I support legislation prohibiting access restrictions to basic life documentation. No elected official should be allowed to "seal" personal documents, their own or another person's, at any time.
