Issue Position

Austin Scott believes that energy independence is the best long-term solution to America's energy needs. Separating ourselves from dependence on foreign powers will involve developing alternative resources here at home, for use by Americans. We have extraordinary resources available to us in the form of wind energy, nuclear power, and alternative fuels. Austin believes that with proper safety measures and stringent oversight, domestic oil production can and should continue in America.
