Businesses create jobs. We have to help strengthen the business environment and encourage growth in our state. Millionaires are taking their wealth and leaving states such as California, New Jersey, and New York due to over regulation and taxation. New businesses start in our state and then move to neighbor states with better tax codes. We need to lure and keep business here by having a pro-business tax code and a well educated work force. We do that by getting rid of the capital gains tax (such as most of the surrounding states) and lower our corporate tax rate. This brings more businesses and creates more jobs. As demand on the work force increases, business will have to offer better benefits to keep quality people. More businesses, more and better paid employees, means more tax revenue for the state. This method of economic growth has been proven time and again, and I will support it if elected as your representative.
