In fact, Omaha has gained national attention as one of the country's strongest metropolitan economies. Our stability is a result of our diverse business climate composed of benchmark entrepreneurship and strong leadership from small businesses, manufacturing and agribusiness.
But we can do more to help all areas of businesses move forward to create quality jobs in our community. We can do this by targeting new opportunities and making start-up capital more accessible. This means taking a serious look at removing the barriers for new and existing business development to spur innovation and entrepreneurialism.
