Lt. Governor Bill Halter today issued the following statement to honor our service men and women on Memorial Day:
"Today, we pause to remember the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
They gave their lives so we could live in freedom.
The struggle continues in far-off countries. We pray for the safe return of Arkansas service men and women who are in harm's way, that they may return safely to their families. "
