"As a former prosecutor and judge for 30 years, I believe it is the responsibility of those who make and enforce the law, particularly the Attorney General of the United States to read a law before speaking about it. It's only fair to the people and the rule of law to make judgments based on fact. If you are going to try the merits of the Arizona law in the media it seems to me it's important to read it first."
