Hundreds of millions of people througout the world yearn to live in the United States. Productive people and their families should be permitted to immigrate legally into our country. We all benefit from this. Illegal immigration should, however, not be permitted. Our borders must be securely patrolled. Illegal immigrants should be charitably and humanely returned to their countries of origin.
Our borders are now inadequately patrolled; legal immigration of many productive and law-abiding people is prevented; and illegal immigrants are allowed to remain in our country. The politicians and bureaucrats responsible for this must be replaced.
