Cecile believes the first step to fixing our immigration system is to secure our nation's borders. She supports the current 287g federal program to allow local law enforcement officers to help ICE with the issues of illegal immigration. She opposes amnesty.
Cecile voted against House Bill 2212 in the 2001 Legislative Session, in its original form, that would have permitted those here illegally to get a driver's license.
