U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released the following statement after learning a contract agreement has been voted on by Harley-Davidson workers in York:

"I'm encouraged by this vote by Harley's workers. With this difficult vote, they have demonstrated their commitment to Harley and to the York community.

"I am hopeful that the Harley-Davidson leadership will honor the workers' commitment by promptly approving the contract and making the final decision to keep the York plant open."
