Senator to Attend Events in Little Rock, Fort Smith, Fayetteville, Rogers, Camden, Hot Springs Village and Magnolia

Senator Mark Pryor today said he is looking forward to spending a month in Arkansas where he can travel the state and hear from communities about economic development, health care, energy and other critical issues. Below is Pryor's schedule for the first half of August.

On Monday, August 10th at 6 pm and 7 pm CT, Pryor will conduct a live Town Hall meeting over the phone to discuss current events and take questions from Arkansans. The Tele-Town Hall system will contact households in the state beginning at 6 pm CT. In addition, Arkansans may also call in to participate by dialing 888-356-3090, with the ID code 13210.

At 7 pm CT, Pryor will begin another Tele-Town Hall meeting. The system will again contact households in the state and Arkansans may also call in to participate by dialing 888-356-3090, with the ID code 13211.

"Arkansans have a lot to say about what's going on in Washington, DC, especially about health care reform, and I want to hear from them. This format is the most effective way to hold a constructive dialogue with thousands of Arkansans, and it invites everyone to be part of the political process in the comfort of their own home," Pryor said. "I am very much looking forward to these discussions and meeting with organizations and communities throughout August."
