Congressman Flake Spotlights Egregious Earmark Of The Week

Republican Congressman Jeff Flake, who represents Arizona's Sixth District, today highlighted a pork project contained in the Omnibus Appropriations bill for fiscal year 2008.

This week's egregious earmark: $245,000 to renovate rehearsal and office space at the Maine State Music Theatre in Brunswick, Maine.

"Regarding this earmark for Maine, Congress should refrain," said Flake.
