Tea Parties: Taxpayers Have Had Enough Recklessness

Statement

Congressman Tom Price issued the following statement as crowds gather across the country to protest Washington's out-of-control taxing and spending policies. Price will be attending two Tea Parties in Georgia today.

"Today's protests are a resounding statement that Americans have had enough," said Congressman Price. "The message to President Obama and Washington Democrats should be loud and clear, that they can no longer recklessly burn through tax dollars to achieve their partisan, big-government agenda. In just a few short months, the President and his allies in Congress have managed to break virtually every promise they made to American taxpayers on the campaign trail. Today, the American people are holding them accountable.

"It's time for real solutions in Washington - policies that respect taxpayers and make fiscal responsibility a real priority instead of just a talking point. We can work together to end the government giveaway and restore fiscal sanity. But first President Obama and his friends in Congress must realize that their endless spending sprees are the problem, not the solution."
