McKeon Statement on CA Supreme Court Prop 8 Decision

Rep. Howard P. "Buck" McKeon (R-Santa Clarita) issued the following statement today on the California Supreme Court's 6-1 decision to uphold Proposition 8, which in 2008 was approved by 52% of voters to protect traditional marriage:

"I applaud the Court's ruling to uphold the decision made by California voters to define marriage as between a man and a woman. This is an important victory for traditional marriage and the democratic process in California."
