Press Release

Date: Jan. 26, 2009
Issues: Veterans

U.S. Senator Judd Gregg today made the following statement regarding the decision by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to locate a new veterans' center and outreach clinic in Keene, New Hampshire.

Senator Gregg stated, "The decision by the Department of Veterans Affairs to establish a new veterans' center and outreach clinic in Keene is excellent news for the New Hampshire veterans' community. This new facility will increase access to quality care for veterans in the Monadnock region and represents a necessary expansion of the VA services available within our state. I strongly supported locating a new VA facility in Keene, which will compliment plans for the recently announced clinic in Brattleboro, Vermont. I will continue my work to ensure that services within our state are expanded and enhanced so that New Hampshire veterans get the health care they have earned and deserve."
