With just four days left in this election, we continue working hard as we sprint to the finish line next Tuesday. As record numbers of people across Louisiana voted early, it is clear that people are aware of the high stakes in this election. This is a critical election for our future and we have a clear choice in this race. I want to continue working hard for the 1st District, and fighting for our conservative values in Congress.

Times Picayune Endorses Scalise for Congress

After receiving the support from leaders like Governor Bobby Jindal and respected groups like the Alliance for Good Government, I was honored to receive the Times Picayune endorsement earlier this week. Here is what they said:

"Mr. Scalise, a computer systems engineer, quickly went to work in Congress after his election in May to replace Gov. Bobby Jindal. He has held 11 town meetings, opened a new office in the district and started working to speed up oil and gas revenue sharing money for Louisiana. He pledges to continue to push for hurricane protection, including floodgates at the Rigolets. He also would like to see a balanced budget amendment for Congress similar to Louisiana's.

"Before winning his House seat, Mr. Scalise was a state legislator for 12 years. His experience in Baton Rouge allowed him to make a swift transition in Congress, which is vitally important as this area continues to recover from disaster. As a state House member Mr. Scalise won passage of legislation to create the state's tax incentive program for the film industry."

Scalise is Clearly the Pro-Business Candidate

While I am proud of the broad support I continue to receive from the business community, my opponent is touting on his own website that he is the "anti-tort reform candidate." He boasts this while advertising a fundraiser many trial lawyers hosted for him in New Orleans last week; an event that included a number of the very trial lawyers who joined with Marc Morial to sue gun makers. We continue to receive more endorsements from respected business organizations. Our campaign has recently been endorsed by:

· The U.S. Chamber of Commerce
· Louisiana Realtors
· New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors
· National Restaurant Association

Law Enforcement for Scalise

I am honored to receive the strong support of our area's law enforcement leaders. I will continue my commitment to protect our neighborhoods from criminals by obtaining the necessary resources so our local law enforcement officials can keep our families and streets safe. Following are some more Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police who are supporting our campaign:

· Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand

· St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Jack Strain

· St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne

· Gretna Chief of Police Arthur Lawson

· Harahan Chief of Police Peter Dale

Harlan's Lies Exposed

My opponent has stopped at nothing to spread lies in a desperate attempt to hide himself from the voters. Now his lies have been exposed. There is a new link on our website that calls Harlan out on his many lies.

Final Debate

The final debate in the 1st Congressional District race will air this Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Watch and see the clear difference between both of us in this important race as Dennis Woltering moderates the final of our three debates.
