Hello friends,

This week's focus is on women and their tremendous benefit to the Republican Party. Women have consistently been the backbone of volunteer efforts across the board. Whether it is phone banks or stuffing envelopes or waving signs, it is you republican women who have done the bulk of the work. And not just on my campaign, but on the majority of republican campaigns. You all deserve a very special thank you!

On that note, I'm very excited to announce that the 54% Vote Project Tour Bus will be stopping by my campaign headquarters this Friday! I hope as many of you as possible can make it out. Please read below for more on that special event.

One additional note, I'd like to make a quick comment on the federal bailouts. It is my fundamental belief that government should tax what it wants to discourage and subsidize what it wants to encourage. At this point, it appears that the bailout rewards bad behavior. What's next - the auto industry? The real estate industry? Before government spends one nickel on a bailout, we must be shown that the consequences would otherwise be worse for the average taxpayer. I have yet to be convinced of that.

God Bless,

Bill

NRWN 54% Vote Project Motor Tour Coming to Posey Headquarters

The National Republican Women's Network (NRWN) 54% Vote Project Motor Tour will be stopping by Bill Posey for Congress headquarters on Friday, September 26th from 12 noon until 3 pm.

Ladies, please come and join with other republican women at Posey headquarters. This is a great opportunity for you to come together to show your strength and importance to the GOP (and the Posey campaign!!). We'll be phone banking, sending out mailers, and sign waving at the corner of Eau Gallie and Wickham to help spread the word about Bill Posey and what he stands for. Gentlemen are more than welcome to join us this for this exciting day… but be forewarned, you will be outnumbered!

The 54% Vote Project was implemented by the NRWN in response to the elections of 2006 and the fact that women voters provided the margin of victory in three critical races that enabled the Democrats to regain control of the U.S. Senate. It is their goal that, as we move toward the General Election, the 54% Vote Project will reach women where they live, work, play, and pray - providing a platform for women to come together to discuss those issues that will determine how they will cast their vote in 2008. They believe that an educated woman voter will be a vote for the Republican candidate.

Please visit www.54percent.org for more information on the 54% Vote Project.

Posey Campaign Headquarters is located at 2525 Aurora Road in Melbourne
