Massa Calls on Kuhl to Join Him and Put Veterans Before Politics...

Career Politician Kuhl still has not explained refusal to vote Yes or No on GI Bill

Last week, Randy Kuhl voted "present" on a bill which included Senator Jim Webb's updated Montgomery G.I. Bill (H.R. 2642, #328), one month after issuing a press release declaring that he would co-sponsor the bill. Despite his promise to our veterans, Kuhl stood silent when his support mattered the most. Below is a quote from Randy Kuhl's own April 10th press release on this topic:
"Although this bill closely resembles the educational benefits provided to veterans returning from World War II, it updates and expands the Montgomery GI Bill to meet the needs of 21st Century soldiers, and greatly increases educational benefits for National Guard and Reserve members."

"We need real leadership in Washington, not more double talk from beltway insiders," said retired Navy Commander Eric Massa who strongly supports the new GI Bill. "This campaign is less about what Randy stands against and more about what I will stand for and change and real support for our veteran's community is just such a difference. It's imperative that we pass the updated Montgomery GI Bill, not simply talk about it, and once again Randy Kuhl has failed to serve our veterans by standing silently in the corner. As a veteran, I understand that we need to expand our veterans' services during this time of war, and we cannot play games with the well being of our returning heroes."
