Jenkins Tops Boyda with Cash on Hand in Final Days of the Campaign

JENKINS TRIPLES BOYDA'S RECEIPTS IN RECENT REPORT
TAKES THE LEAD OVER BOYDA WITH CASH ON HAND

State Treasurer Lynn Jenkins today announced she raised nearly $125,000 in just two weeks -- between October 1 and 15. This cash haul is triple what Nancy Boyda has raised in the final days and puts Jenkins ahead with cash on hand in the critical final weeks of the campaign.

This two week tally adds to the record-breaking $680,000 Jenkins raised in the third quarter, which was reported last week.

"We have an incredible amount of support and momentum driving us toward November 4 and it continues to come from the great people of this state," State Treasurer Lynn Jenkins said. "With just 11 days left, we are talking with voters and mobilizing our volunteers, asking folks to contribute in any way they can. In increasing numbers, Kansans are tired of Nancy Boyda saying one thing in Kansas and voting another way in Washington."

Jenkins has been endorsed by prominent groups such as the Kansas Farm Bureau, the Kansas Livestock Association, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and Trust in Small Business.
