Issue Position: Healthcare

I am proud of my record of supporting common-sense, market-based solutions to providing the best access to the highest-quality healthcare for all Americans. I strongly supported reauthorizing the State Children's Health Insurance Program, and fought to ensure that the neediest children were taken care of rather than expanding the program to middle class families. I will continue to support expanding health savings accounts and association health plans to provide greater individual control over health care.
