Hello friends,

Well it is hard to believe, but the primary is just 34 days away. This is what we call "crunch time" and volunteers are crucial to a successful campaign. For the next 4 weeks leading up to the primary, we need all the help we can get sending the absentee mailers out, phoning those voters to send their ballots in, walking precincts, recruiting volunteers to work their polling location on Primary Day, and in the final two weeks we will be calling Republican voters to remind them of the August 26th primary.

This sounds like a tall order, but with a group of dedicated, hard working volunteers like yourselves, I know we will be successful!

Those of you who have been volunteering already, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and hope that you continue to do so. For those of you thinking about volunteering, I urge you to do so in the weeks leading up to the primary. An hour or two of your time can really make a big difference!

This is the exciting part of a campaign, so I hope to see you out on the campaign trail!

Volunteer Opportunities

Saturday, July 26th Our FIRST precinct walks!! From 9:30 am to 12 noon we will hold our first precinct walks in Brevard County. We have two meeting locations where you can pick up a walk packet, grab a buddy, and hit the pavement - Campaign Headquarters at 2525 Aurora Road in Melbourne and the Posey & Co. real estate office at 1824 Fiske Blvd. in Rockledge.

If you are unable to walk precincts, please join us at the Brevard County Republican Picnic that afternoon. We'll need help manning our booth and passing out literature from 12 to 4 pm at Wickham Park. Be sure to wear your Vote for Posey T-Shirts!

Now through August 26th We will be doing mailers and follow-up phone calls to Republican Absentee voters. We are looking for volunteers to commit to a three hour shift on either Tuesdays or Thursdays (or both!). We'll be working at the Rockledge office on Tuesdays from 10 am - 5 pm and at the Melbourne Headquarters on Thursdays from 10 am - 5 pm.

August 2nd Osceola County precinct walk! If you'd like to be a part of Senator Posey's first precinct walk in Osceola, we will be meeting at the Osceola REC office on Vine Street in Kissimmee at 9:30 am and plan on walking until 11:30 am.

Ongoing Our voter to voter postcards are now in! If you are able to take a stack of them and write personal notes to your friends, please stop by the HQ to pick some up. If you'd like to write some to names we provide for you, stop in during any of the absentee mailing times.

Finally, we are assembling yard sign teams. If you would like to take 10 - 20 signs and have plenty of yards to place them in, please stop by and pick some up.

For more information about any of these opportunities, please contact Ashley Hughes at (321) 254-6282 or ahughes@billposey.com.
