Hello friends,

We had a great precinct walk in Osceola this past Saturday. I'd like to give a heartfelt Thank You to those who participated and made it such a success. There was an excellent turn-out and we were able to hit over 1,000 households in Kissimmee.

There are only three more weekends left before the primary on August 26th. If you are interested in joining us, we'll be doing more precinct walking each Saturday or, if you would like to walk your own neighborhood at your leisure over the next three weekends, just give the office a call and they can print up a walk list and get you some of my literature.

This Saturday, August 9th, we are organizing a Vero Beach walk. These walks are tremendously important and very effective at motivating voters, so thanks again to everyone pounding the pavement!

NRA Endorses Bill Posey

The National Rifle Association (NRA) has endorsed Bill Posey to represent Florida's 15th Congressional District. The NRA has long recognized Senator Posey's strong support for the 2nd Amendment. The NRA Political Victory Fund has always graded Senator Posey as an A or A+ supporter of the 2nd Amendment based on his votes in the Florida State Senate.
Coffee with the Candidate

While the 15th Congressional district spans four counties across Central Florida, this campaign is all about getting local and personal with voters. However, finding opportunities to meet with voters can be very tough.

That is why we are starting the "Coffee with the Candidate" effort. We are looking for Posey supporters willing to open their home for a casual gathering of friends and neighbors with Senator Posey. These coffees are a great opportunity for voters to meet him in an intimate setting and ask the questions they really want to know.

Not sure who to invite? Campaign staff can provide you with lists of fellow Republicans in your neighborhood or precinct. We'll also provide phone numbers, post cards and stamps to invite them. In the past, we have found many hosts end up making new friends in their own neighborhood!

These informal coffees are especially effective when hosted in a condo building or gated community, where often campaign volunteers aren't permitted to walk door to door or those neighborhoods where yard signs are not permitted. Even if they can't make the coffee, just the invitation being extended will let your neighbors know Senator Posey is accessible to them and cares about their neighborhood.
