Excitement at McCain HQ Convention Party

The excitement level among Republicans hasn't been this high in years! John McCain's selection of Sarah Palin to be his running mate has truly energized the party. That much was clearly evident last Thursday at a Republican National Convention Watching Party held at McCain's Brevard Headquarters.

A great crowd showed up to watch McCain close the Convention. Everyone in the room was buzzing about Sarah Palin and her speech from the night before. Myself and State Representative Thad Altman had the privilege to address those in attendance before McCain delivered his speech. We both commented on how we haven't seen the GOP this pumped up in many, many years - not since the days of Reagan! After we watched McCain's speech and heard his plan to bring REAL change to Washington, everyone was even more excited.

The Republican Party is sending true reformers to Washington. Something that is sorely needed and the whole reason I am running for Congress. With your support, I hope to be able to join them in D.C. to help them reform Washington and make the Federal Government more accountable.
