In the last year, we have seen the consequences of our dependency on foreign oil - four dollar a gallon gas and rising food prices. Steve Chabot believes it is critically important that we develop a comprehensive energy policy that puts our nation in control, not foreign dictators. Increasing domestic oil and natural gas production, providing incentives for greater use renewable fuels and alternative energies like wind and solar, and investing in promising new technologies like hydrogen fuel cells are steps we can take now to lower energy prices.
