The deepening credit crisis and harmful legislation, pushed by democrats in congress and the president, have placed the federal student loan program in jeopardy and many students and families now risk not receiving federal financial aid for their education. This is why Marilyn is promoting a new plan to provide a back stop to allow the department of treasury to help with the financing of student loans and to guarantee students in Colorado will get the funds they qualify for to continue their college education.
