Reynolds Applauds the IRS's Renewal Of Pioneer Credit's Contract
Congressman says contract will expand job opportunities in Western New York

Today, Representative Thomas M. Reynolds (Clarence) issued a statement on the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) decision to renew the largest private sector employer in Wyoming County Pioneer Credit's contract through 2008. Pioneer Credit is a private collection agency that operates facilities in Arcade, Batavia and Perry and is apart of the IRS's private debt collection initiative.

"Pioneer Credit serves as a classic example of a Western New York company that can compete against any other company in the world and succeed.

"Over the last couple of years, Pioneer Credit has been crucial in helping close the tax gap. This is important because it lessens the tax burden on hard working families. Indeed, Pioneer's success in helping the IRS has led to the creation of more than 1,400 jobs right here in Western New York. These jobs will have a lasting impact on our region's economy.

"This contract renewal will ensure that Pioneer's success in creating jobs in our area will continue."
