Sydney Hay Becomes the First Congressional District One Candidate to File Petitions

On the first day of the 30-day filing period for candidates running for Federal Office in Arizona, Sydney Hay filed her petitions and documents with the Arizona Secretary of State, turning in over 3 times the number of signatures necessary.

"We are still collecting signatures until the filing deadline," said Hay. "We will file a supplemental filing at the end, but I wanted to make it clear how committed I am to winning this race." She added, "Continuing to gather signatures until the deadline will keep us communicating one on one with voters and shaking thousands more hands in the vast Congressional District One."

"Thank you to all who have sent in signatures and to those still circulating petitions. We look forward to filing many more signatures by the first of June," Hay concluded.
