BRADY STATEMENT ON WAR FUNDING

Today, Congressman Brady (R-Texas) reacted to the convoluted war funding package as it was laden with excessive spending and a time table for surrender. Congressman Brady refused to support legislation that would use our troops as political pawns.

Brady notes, "Enough is enough. I am disgusted with politicians in Congress interfering with battlefield decisions and loading pork barrel funding onto the backs of our troops again."

"It is time for Congress to pull together, fully fund our troops and get that single bill to the President immediately so our armed forces aren't left fighting for their nation without a paycheck."
