Issue Position

As a member of the Immigration Reform Caucus, John Campbell is working to advance policies that strengthen border security and improve interior enforcement. He opposes amnesty and other plans that would lead to increased levels of illegal immigration. He authored two amendments to crack down on localities that ignore federal immigration laws to protect illegal immigrants, and he co-sponsored the legislation to build 700 miles of border fencing as well as a dozen other security and enforcement measures.
