I support effor ts to achieve a balanced budget without raising taxes and by making tax cuts permanent. We are seeing the result of tax cuts enacted by Congress that allow families to keep more of what they earn. To keep the economy moving forward, Congress needs to continue to support pro-growth policies.

We must address the long term fiscal challenges of entitlement spending. It is critical that we take on the difficult but necessary job of ref or ming entitlement programs that are bankrupting the country.
