Krysztoforski on the Road Again

Following an early breakfast with supporters in Northern Baltimore County on Sunday, 6th District Congressional candidate, Joseph T. Krysztoforski went on to attend the "Celebrating Women" event in Washington County and the Frederick County Oktoberfest. This was his fifth outing within a span of eleven days to meet with residents and attend local events in Maryland's 6th Congressional District. In his statement to supporters Krysztoforski declared, "I am a citizen, business man, entrepreneur, educator, technologist, and analyst. However, the most important of these is citizen, and as a citizen, I am not pleased with the road our Nation's policies and actions are taking us down. I am not happy with a Congress or Administration that encourages the Justice Department and affiliated agencies to circumvent the Constitution and Bill of Rights. We must preserve our freedoms as we secure the nation".

Krysztoforski addressed energy independence by stating "…we put a man on the moon in eight Years; with the same resolute we can significantly reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. We must invest in renewable energy sources that have little or no damaging impact on the environment. Among these are bio, solar, wind, hydroelectric and geothermal. I will introduce legislation to fully fund the research, development and deployment of renewable energy sources. The 6th district in allits' diversity can lead the charge in energy research and development."

On the local level, Krysztoforski stated, "…while our neighbors in West Virginia, Virginia and
Pennsylvania experience economic growth due to federal initiatives brought about by their
representatives, portions of our district struggle to survive. Roscoe Bartlett has neglected the 6th district for far too long, particularly the western and eastern counties where he is rarely seen. We need to revitalize the 6th district and we need to do it now!"

He summarized his position stating "…we must safeguard Social Security and Medicare, implement a workable energy policy, reform the healthcare and immigration systems, secure our nation and bring about an orderly end to our daily involvement in Iraq. As previous generations have, this generation and the next must provide a secure legacy for future generations. We must stop playing politics and economics with people's lives and the legacy we will leave behind for our children and grandchildren."

Before leaving for events in the western end of the district, Krysztoforski closed with what is fast becoming his campaign's mantra, "It's about the people, it's about the future, it's about the principles upon which this country was founded and not the politicians or partisan politics."

About Joseph T. Krysztofoski
In 2006, during his first run, and following a brief six week campaign, Krysztoforski, against all odds, accomplished what many thought was improbable. He earned the endorsement of area newspapers and in the primary, against Roscoe Bartlett, a 14 year incumbent, secured over 22% of the vote in key counties. Krysztoforski for United States Congress may be obtained from the campaign's website JTKforCongress.org or by contacting the committee at 410/472-2893 x204.
