Issue Position

After the attacks of September 11, 2001, our country entered a new age to fight the global war on terrorism. We face an enemy unlike any other we have faced that wears no uniform and uses brutal unconventional tactics to attack innocent men and women. These terrorist groups are determined to attack the United States and our allies. We must continue to fight the extremism that persists in threatening our nation and Armed Services abroad. At the same time, I believe we must also continue forge new allies and partnerships by winning the hearts and minds to cut off new environments for terrorist safe havens and breeding grounds.

Wyoming 's men and women in uniform have bravely answered the call from those serving in the Wyoming National Guard to our Airmen serving at F.E. Warren. I cannot be more proud of their selfless service and sacrifice. For this great sacrifice, I stand committed to provide the best equipment and facilities for all of our Armed Forces.
