"Listening Sessions" on Economic and Infrastructure Needs

As a member of the Environment and Public Works Committee of the U.S. Senate I'd like to invite you to join me for a "Listening Session" on the economic and infrastructural needs in your county.

This "Listening Session" will be an opportunity for you and other community leaders to inform me and my staff as to how we can best go forward together to create good paying jobs and address the transportation and infrastructure needs of the region.

There will be a one hour panel consisting of municipal officials, regional planners, legislators, state agency officials, business leaders, labor leaders, senior citizens and representatives of the low income community. The meeting will then be open to the public for comments and questions.

This meeting will be the beginning of an ongoing dialog with my office about the economic development needs in your region.

The scheduled meetings are listed below.

If you have questions, please contact Jeff Munger of my staff at 1-800-339-9834. Jeff, as many of you know worked for Senator Jim Jeffords on these types of issues for many years and will be coordinating the meetings.

I hope to see you at one of these meetings.

Sincerely,

Bernard Sanders
U.S. Senator
