Sullivan Tapped to Serve Oklahoma as Assistant Whip, on Policy Committee, and on Several Energy and Commerce Subcommittees
Today, Congressman John Sullivan announced that he has been chosen to serve on several panels which will influence the House Republican's policy agenda during the 110th Congress.
"It is an honor to once again be asked to serve as Assistant Minority Whip to support Minority Whip Roy Blunt in his duties. In this capacity, I will be involved in leadership meetings, as well as floor proceedings on legislation. Minority Leader John Boehner has also asked me to serve on the Republican House Policy Committee. This committee will allow me to play a role in shaping and advancing the Republican Party's policies by helping members develop their policy ideas into actual legislation.
"In addition to retaining my seat on the Energy and Commerce Committee, I have been assigned to several subcommittees: Energy and Air Quality, Health, and Environment and Hazardous Materials. These assignments will allow me to continue to advocate for what is important to Oklahomans."
